The Light Touch™ is an exciting interactive projector that can transform any flat surface into a virtual touch screen computer pad.  This allows you to set up and use your handheld devices anywhere you want to using the latest touch screen technology.

Light Touch™ is created by the small company Light Blue Optics and was one of the top ten exhibits at the 2010 CES (the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow).  The Holographic Laser Projection technology allows users to interact with a displayed image just as they would with a touchscreen on a smart phone or computer tablet.   The touch sensitivity is surprisingly accurate and the prototype offers single touch support, however when this technology is released onto the market it is anticipated that it will provide multi-touch support.

This projection touch screen technology could transform the way in which we use handheld portable devices, both for business and leisure purposes.  As well as projecting a touch screen to enable you to interact with your device you will also be able to project images, video, slideshows and more onto a 10.1″ virtual screen.  This will increase the versatility of your mobile devices and allow you to interact with applications simply by touching the virtual display.
