Plastic Logic recently launched its Que e-reader which, it states, is exclusively meant for business people. Que e-reader has got some stunning designs and rich features. Bezel curves, slim and sleek body design, a wide display screen- all define its perfect blend of style and intelligence with performance.As the Que e-reader focuses heavily on the needs of the business folks, it has signed content partnerships with leading publishers such as Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Forbes, etc. The 8*11 inch display screen makes it comfortable for reading documents, newspapers, journals and magazines or viewing presentations etc. which is very cumbersome and irritating on tiny screens of smart-phones, Pocket PCs or Personal Desktop Assistants (PDAs). On the other hand as compared to an e-book reader, the notebooks cannot be carried easily to the office, home or work with it when you are on the go. The Plastic Logic Que e-reader weighs less than many journals and periodicals. You can carry numerous magazines and books in the digital format in the Que reader and carry it anywhere. It incorporates the ‘truVue’ standard which provides a rich experience of reading, different than a traditional e-book reader.

It also has support for Microsoft Office documents like MS Word, MS Excel Spreadsheets, Power Point Presentations and also supports Portable Document Format (PDF). Approximately 35000 documents can be stored in the 4 GB Que e-reader. An exciting feature in the Que is that it has a home screen that displays Calendar, Drag and Drop menu along with the ‘favorites’ list. This feature is found missing in many traditional e-book readers. Additional features such as Wi-Fi, 3G (8 GB) and Bluetooth are provided for enhanced connectivity. Currently two models will be available in the market the- 4 GB model without 3G priced at $649 and the 8 GB model with 3G (AT&T) costing $799!
